If you want to ask someone out for prom the first thing you do is get him or her alone. You can either call them on the phone, or you can be brave and ask them face-to-face. Just be sure that you are alone with this person. Just in case you receive an answer that you may not like. When you ask the person out try to talk about different topics before you jump right into asking them to prom. This way they get to see how much fun, they will have if they to go to prom with you. Smile and let your personality show. Even if you’re on the phone people can hear your smile in your voice. If the person rejects you respect his or her decision and try asking someone else out.

So you tried asking someone out to prom and it didn’t go as great as you thought it would. There is still time to get a date, if there is a will there is a way, and we will get you a date with these prom dating tips…..

The first thing you should do is spread the word that you are looking for a prom date. It might sound cheesy, but there might be someone who thought you already had a date. By spreading the world you leave doors open for people who maybe interested in asking you out. Maybe even a blind date with a hook up from one of your friends. Who know they could be the person of your dreams. You could also try making A list including any friends, acquaintances, distant cousins, everyone. Then let your fingers do the walking and your mouth do the talking until you find someone who is interested in joining in on the fun of prom.

Some other choices are going to parties. When you go to parties there is always someone new for you to meet. Talk to them for a little bit and tell them you need a date for prom. Most people will say yes, so chances are you will find a date this way. After all there are a lot of people at parties. You can try asking out someone who you know has a crush on you. If they have a crush on you it’s very likely that they will go to the prom with you. Listen around the school, see if anyone breaks-ups and they need an emergency date. You could be that emergency date. Or find out who else might need a date for prom. Chances are you aren’t the only one without a date for prom. Let’s not forget the Internet. It’s 2008 people we don’t live in the stone age. It may sound crazy but you may have to sell yourself for a prom date. Post a bulletin to your myspace friends, add some new friends that could easily become a prom date, and lets not forget facebook. You can try finding a date into a fun group and see how many takers are willing to be your date. Be creative and you’ll find a 2008 prom date in no time.

If after all of the choices you still haven’t found a date for prom. Which could be a great thing. Or maybe you just wanted to go to prom by yourself all along. By going by yourself you are the center of attention. Think about it most people will have dates, when you show up stag all eyes will be on you and your prom outfit. Which automatically will be great because you really will be a star for the night and everyone will be talking about you. If some other people go stag you can dance with them and you might even still someone else’s date. Fun huh, plus you can dance with anyone you want and not worry about your date getting mad or felling disrespected. The only person you have to worry about is you.

Whatever you decide make prom 2008 a fun and memorable experience. Make sure you stay safe and remember to always make smart choices whether you go with a date or by yourself.
